ASPE Undergraduate Scholarship Program.

Applicants must be currently enrolled as full time students and have achieved at least second-year academic standing in a course of study leading to a degree in a construction related field, so high school seniors and part-time students are not eligible.  All applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, based on a 4.0 system, to be considered for the scholarship award.

The applicants will be responsible to provide, to the Committee, a completed and signed application form. The application will be divided into four major sections:

1 general information
2 academic performance
3 extracurricular activities/employment history
4 and the essay

 The applicant will need to include:

1 a transcript of grades,
2 list of extracurricular activities,
3 extracurricular activities/employment history
4 and the essay

Applications will be reviewed and winner(s) selected by the ASPE National Scholarship Committee based on the information provided in the application along with any other information the applicant deems appropriate. Applicants shall have no relationship with any member of the National Scholarship Committee.

The deadline for Students submitting the scholarship applications and all supporting material no later than February 15th each year and should be sent to the Society Business Office.  In order to verify information the applicants may be subjected to a short personal phone interview with a representative of the ASPE Scholarship Committee. The award check will be sent directly to the school of enrollment and not to the student.
