Membership Classification
In Accordance with our Bylaws: Article III, Section 6.E: New Member Dues- new members will pay the full year dues upon joining with their first year renewal dues prorated to bring them into compliance with the Annual Dues.


There are several levels/classifications of membership which include:

Estimator (E) - Shall be an active Construction Estimator in one or more of the construction estimating disciplines.

Affiliate Member (AF) - Shall be employed in a construction related field.

Student (S) - Shall be a full-time student actively pursuing a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in a construction related field.

Classifications assigned by the National Board of Trustees or Fellows Committee:

Fellow Certified Professional Estimator (FCPE) -Shall be a Certified Professional Estimator and shall have been a member of the Society for a period of at least ten (10) consecutive years at the time of award. The Fellow shall be recognized for making an exceptional contribution to the Society and the art of estimating. Fellow shave have the designation FCPE

Member Emeritus (ME) -  Shall have been a member of the Society for at least ten (10) consecutive years and working less than full time in the construction industry and shall have reached the age of sixty (60) years. The Member Emeritus classification shall be recommended by the member's Chapter or the Board of Trustees, and be approved by the Board of Trustees. A Member Emeritus shall have the designation of ME.


Classifications assigned by the Certification Committee

Certified Professional Estimator  ( CPE) - Shall be an estimator, who has successfully completed and continues to maintain the Certification requirements of the Society. A Certified Professional Estimator shall have the designation CPE.
